The Duncan troupe, which continues to frolic, reach, stretch, and place the human body in harmony with natural surroundings under the leadership of Lori Belilove (who studied with Duncan acolytes herself), has a very strong roster of upcoming events this summer’s end and into the autumn.
One caught our eye. Maybe because there’s wine involved?
In a faraway kingdom called New Jersey, the Duncan Company will perform “Wild Beauty,” a 45-minute dance reflecting the beauty and harmony of form apparent at the Greenwood Gardens in Short Hills. The vision for the performance is primordial at its root and universal in its expression.
Following the performance, children are invited to the lower gardens to experience the style with tambourines and flowing scarves with the dancers! But before the performance, for grown-up kiddies, a wine tasting and hors d’oeuvres reception on the East Terrace.
