A love fest for the cutest couple in the sub-Saharan — Tarzan and Jane — at the Barn on St. Valentine’s Day. An ‘Evening at the Barn’ dedicated to the King of the Jungle and his slate of films comes courtesy of Scott Tracy Griffin, author of “Tarzan: The Centennial Celebration” (Titan Books, 2012).
Griffin’s book is the only authorized commemorative visual history of American author Edgar Rice Burroughs’ famed ape man. “Tarzan: The Centennial Celebration” is a 2013 Locus Award finalist in the Art Book category.
Dubbed “the leading bibliographer of Edgar Rice Burroughs” Griffin’s 20-year professional writing career spans periodicals including Cinefantastique, FilmFax, Mississippi Magazine, Femme Fatale, and the Burroughs Bulletin, and includes a story arc for United Feature’s Tarzan Sunday comic strip in 1996.
Come on, Tarz, give us a kiss!
