In the video above, Hee Seo, rehearses for opening night of American Ballet Theatre‘s “The Nutcracker”Friday night at Segerstrom Center for the Arts. The video displays what an exquisite ballerina she is.
There is no doubt that every night at the ballet is a pride night for gay men and women. That’s indicated by the many contributions the gay community has made to the art of dance since the beginning of time. But Segerstrom has just announced a particular special event for recognition of our LGBTQ+ community. The theater, the crown jewel of performing arts centers in Southern California, is offering a ticket package for Pride Night at the Ballet on Wednesday, December 15.
The package, easily accessible, includes an Orchestra ticket, a premium drink ticket (wine, champagne, or a cocktail) and a LGBTQ Love is Love ornament. And guys and ladies, you will support the arts, and America’s premier ballet company. The package price is $105 dollars, to include all those perks — and it goes to supporting the return of American dance to our stages. Casting for the lengthy ABT residency has been announced.
