Dance giants shmooze @ “Tappin’ Thru Life” opening night

Dance

A glorious night, Friday, in Beverly Hills, as veteran hoofer Maurice Hines poured major show-biz nostalgia onto the stage of the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts (known to cognoscenti as “The Wallis”). After the show, a bevy of dance royalty hugged, kissed, and shared a whole lotta lobby love.

Featured in the photos:

  • Maurice Hines visits with a mentor, the tap-dancing legend from “The Lawrence Welk Show,” Arthur Duncan.
  • Los Angeles choreographer Lula Washington, Arthur Duncan
  • Maurice Hines visits with Academy Award-winning actor/dancer George Chakiris,

My personal discovery of a great dancer, in the video. Love his pristine clarity!
