Join Hollywood Heritage at the Hollywood Heritage Museum (the historic Lasky-DeMille Barn at 2100 N. Highland Ave.) for a catered brunch at 11:30 am at the birthplace of the Hollywood motion picture industry!

The brunch will be followed at 1:30 pm by a guided walking tour to the Egyptian Theatre and a screening of DeMille’s SAMSON AND DELILAH (Paramount, 1949). Tickets for the brunch/tour, $13, include brunch, museum admission and walking tour. You must purchase, however, by Dec. 11.

The “Samson” brunch is part of a celebration of the legendary partnership between Cecil B. DeMille and Jesse Lasky that began 100 years ago this month (Dec. 22, 1913), when the director and the producer leased a barn to serve as their studio facilities for THE SQUAW MAN, the first feature film to be made in the Hollywood area.

A special exhibit of DeMille-Lasky memorabilia will be on display in addition to permanent exhibits including a recreation of DeMille’s office in the barn.
